Hi, I use this for camping in Tasmania. It is used to recharge mobile phones, headtorches and other rechargeable items. It can put about 20% charge on a mobile phone in 25 minutes in full sun (for a galaxy S21 phone for example) which is excellent performance for such a little 30 W unit. The pouch is handy for storing the different USB cables I require for different appliances. When the red LED light is on, it indicates its ready to charge items. Like all solar panels it has to be facing the full sun to get rated performance. A great product and works as it should. High charge rate means it doesn’t have to be out all day. Good quality, light carry and fold out pouch, with hanging eyelets. Will be a great unit to charge phones and torches on overnight hiking trips. I would buy this unit again.

Having just returned from the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea, the Nitecore FSP30 was really put to the test as there was no shore power close by. The solar panel performed admirably under harsh conditions including heat and very high humidity. It allowed me to charge up various items including power banks, iPad, battery lighting etc.
I purchased the FSP30 prior to departing for South Korea and had no hesitation spending a little more than anticipated given that I already own Nitecore products and have been extremely happy with the Nitecore brand. I was certainly not disappointed and the solar panel worked seamlessly and without any hiccups. Others that purchased inferior and cheaper products did encounter issues with some panels failing to perform as advertised.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Nitecore FSP30 and any Nitecore product for that matter. A superior product that will not let you down.

I really like this solar panel, it’s not too heavy and I’d even consider taking it in my backpack on a multi-day hike. No wires hanging out, pocket for the hub with the USB ports has grommets for attaching cord to hang it, and it provides a good amount of power. I just wish there was an Android app that would log the power over time so I could get a better idea of performance; all the apps I’ve seen just do realtime charging current only.
